It’s time for another Sunday Style Profile and today we are looking at one of my favorite style icons: Jane Birkin.

After binge-watching the Crown, it was only natural the next Sunday Style Profile would be The People’s Princess.

Lee Radziwill is an American socialite, the younger sister of Jackie Kennedy, and a style icon in her own right.

Let me preface this post by saying I've thought about personal style a lot lately. Whether it was because of a podcast or just trying to liven up my closet, it's just been renting space in my mind. As we grow we begin to take on inspiration from a lot of places, and one of the biggest bits of inspiration I had growing up was Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Of course, Jackie died in 1993 when I was still very young, but the Kennedy dynasty has been a huge part of my life. I'm sure that's the case with many people. I grew up doing tons of reports, watching tons of documentaries, and absorbing everything I could about each of them.

I know a few weeks back I threw a little shade about Grace Kelly being the true American Princess, but I drank the Royal Wedding Kool-Aid (so to speak). I had plenty of jaded thoughts about love and weddings leading up to the Royal Wedding. I couldn't stand the television coverage and the onslaught of Taylor Swift songs in their advertisements. But somehow, someway, I woke up at 4am on May 18th to watch the big event.
